Octopus berrima [Octopus berrima]
Description
This octopus can be surprisingly hard to notice until it moves, especially when it’s tucked into crevices or under ledges. Divers might observe it extending an arm to investigate the seafloor, then pulling back as it assesses the situation. Like other octopuses, it can shift its appearance quickly, making it a thrilling subject for underwater photography.
