Northern Piddock [Hanleya hanleyi]
Description
The Northern Piddock is a species of marine mollusk known for its long, cylindrical shape and its ability to bore into rocks and other hard substrates. Its shell is whitish in color, and it has a tentacle-fringed siphon extending from the shell that it uses to filter feed.
