Description
The New Zealand Whiptail, or Caelorinchus caribbaeus, is a species of rattail endemic to the waters around New Zealand. It is characterized by a long, whip-like tail and a body that tapers towards the tail. The species lives at depths between 200 and 1,000 meters and feeds on small fish and invertebrates.
