Mudworm [Marphysa depressa]

Description
Marphysa depressa, commonly referred to as the mudworm, is a marine polychaete species. They are commonly found in muddy sediments of warm, shallow coastal waters. This species is characterized by its brownish color and elongated, segmented body, which can reach up to 25 cm in length. Mudworms are detritivores, feeding on organic matter in the sediment.
