Mirrorbelly [Polymetme corythaeola]
Description
The Mirrorbelly or Polymetme corythaeola is part of the family Phosichthyidae and found in the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Ocean. This species is characterized by a large number of photophores and a slim, elongated body up to 25 cm long. They live in midwater depths.
