Description
Loggerheads are sturdy sea turtles with a broad head and powerful front flippers, commonly seen cruising over sandy bottoms or near rocky reefs. Underwater, they may forage slowly, using their strong jaws to feed on crabs, mollusks, and other bottom-dwelling prey.
