Lettuce-leaf Coral [Agaricia tenuifolia]

Lettuce-leaf Coral
Description

This coral earns its name from its thin, leaf-like fronds that spread out in overlapping sheets. Underwater, it can create a soft, ruffled texture that catches light and makes the reef look more intricate. Divers commonly spot tiny crustaceans and small reef dwellers tucked along the edges of the fronds.
