Lesser Valley Coral [Platygyra pini]
Description
This species forms compact colonies with shallow, interlacing valleys that give it a gently wrinkled look. Underwater, the coral’s surface texture becomes especially noticeable when sunlight filters down and highlights the raised ridges.
