Jorunna spongiosa [Jorunna spongiosa]
Description
As its name suggests, Jorunna spongiosa is closely tied to sponge habitats, and divers commonly find it near sponge patches. It has a soft, velvety look and a compact shape that makes it feel like part of the reef’s “furnishings,” especially when it pauses and blends into the surrounding growth.
