Description
The ink sea cucumber, or Flabelligella bocki, is a marine species known for its ability to release a cloud of inky substance when threatened. This species is often found in the abyssal zone of the ocean, at depths exceeding 2000 meters. The body of the ink sea cucumber is cylindrical and relatively short, with a rough, warty texture and a dark coloration ranging from brown to black. It feeds on detritus and small organisms in the ocean floor sediment, using its tentacles to bring food to its mouth. The ink sea cucumber is a solitary creature, often found living alone in the deep sea.
