Indian Ocean Roundhead [Etmopterus virens]
Description
The Indian Ocean Roundhead is a species of shark found in the deep waters of the Indian Ocean. It is characterized by its slender body, large eyes, and two dorsal fins, each with a large spine. The species inhabits depths of 200 to 600 meters and feeds on small fish and invertebrates. The Indian Ocean Roundhead is bioluminescent, using light to camouflage itself in the deep-sea environment.
