Hypselodoris placida [Hypselodoris placida]
Description
Often seen on calmer, rocky reef areas, this dorid nudibranch can blend into the seafloor until its color pattern catches the light. Divers may spot it crawling along the substrate, typically moving slowly and steadily. If you watch closely, you may see it pause as it feeds, giving you a great chance to observe its form and texture.
