Hypselodoris paulinae [Hypselodoris paulinae]
Description
Hypselodoris paulinae is a dorid nudibranch divers may spot on rocky bottoms and reef edges, especially where sponge growth is present. Its coloration and body shape give it a distinctive “reef jewel” appearance, even when it’s not moving much. With slow, careful finning, you can often get a close look at its texture and the way it navigates the seafloor.
