Humpback Scorpionfish [Scorpaenopsis gibbosa]
Description
The Humpback Scorpionfish is a marine species that is widespread throughout the tropical waters of the Indo-West Pacific area. The Humpback Scorpionfish can grow up to 18 cm in length. It has a unique humpbacked profile and its body coloration varies from reddish to grayish brown. It is a nocturnal species, hiding in the daytime and hunting small fish and invertebrates at night.
