Hump Coral [Porites furcata]
Description
Divers often spot Porites furcata as rounded, lumpy mounds that rise like small humps from the reef. Its surface can look subtly textured, and in clear water it may appear pale to tan, sometimes with faint color banding. Because it grows slowly, healthy colonies can become long-term landmarks on a reef.
