Holey Split-tooth Dorid [Hypselodoris lacuna]
Description
Divers often spot this dorid by its bold, contrasting coloration and the distinctive “split-tooth” look of its gill and mantle edges. It tends to cruise slowly along rocky or reef areas, where it blends just enough to be interesting—until you notice the pattern. Look for it on or near the surfaces where its prey is present.
