Description
Gyptis rosea is a species of polychaete worm in the family Hesionidae. It is found in the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the Irish Sea. It is a small, delicate, transparent worm with a rose-colored gut, which gives it its common name. The worm is usually found in shallow water, in muddy or sandy substrates.
