Gulf of Ob Navaga [Eleginus cyclocephalus]
Description
The Gulf of Ob Navaga, or Eleginus cyclocephalus, is a species of cod found in the Gulf of Ob in the Arctic Ocean. It is a small fish, usually not exceeding 35cm in length. It has a grayish body with a white belly. This species prefers cold, shallow waters and sandy or muddy seabeds. It is an omnivorous bottom feeder, feeding on a variety of marine animals and plants.
