Guinean Cuttlefish [Sepia elobyana]
Description
Divers may spot this cuttlefish cruising close to sandy or rocky bottoms, where it can rapidly change color and texture to match the surroundings. With its distinctive arms and short tentacles, it often appears curious and alert, then quickly settles into a camouflaged “freeze” when approached.
