Greenland Moon Snail [Lunatia groenlandica]
Description
A species native to the cold waters of the Arctic Ocean and North Atlantic Ocean. It has a thick, sturdy shell with a low spire. Its color ranges from white to light brown. This snail feeds on bivalves and other mollusks, which it locates by burrowing in the substrate.
