Granulated Star Turban [Architectonica granulata]
Description
The Granulated Star Turban is a sea snail species in the family Architectonicidae. It is characterized by a shell that reaches about 25-35 mm, with a granular surface and light brown color. It has a unique sunken spire and the shell aperture is almost circular. Found in shallow waters among sandy and muddy seabed in the Indo-Pacific region.
