Giant Trevally [Caranx ignobilis]

Giant Trevally
Description

Giant trevally are large, muscular jacks that often patrol reef edges and channels like living sentinels. Divers may notice their confident, steady swimming and sudden bursts when hunting. If you’re lucky, you’ll see them schooling or shadowing baitfish, creating a dramatic flash of silver as they move.
