Fireworm [Branchiosyllis exilis]

Description
The Branchiosyllis exilis, commonly known as the Fireworm, is a species of marine polychaete worm. It is found in the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, where it lives in a range of habitats, from the intertidal zone to depths of more than 200 meters. It is a small, slender worm, typically less than 10 cm in length, with a bright red color. The Fireworm is a carnivore, feeding on small invertebrates and detritus.
