Description
The Fiona Pinnata, also known as the Winged Sea Slug, is a species of sea slug, a nudibranch, a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk in the family Fionidae. This species can be found in the tropical Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a pelagic species that has a transparent body, which can reach a length of 50 mm. It is unique in that it lives exclusively on the floating Hydrozoan, Porpita porpita, and Velella velella.
