False Keel Worm [Pomatoceros lamarckii]
Description
This species is found in the eastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Its calcareous tube is rough and irregular, often covered with shell fragments. The worm has a segmented body with bristle-like appendages and a crown of gills for feeding and respiration.
