Eudendrium dispar [Eudendrium dispar]
Description
Eudendrium dispar typically appears as a slender, branching hydroid colony that grows upright from the seafloor. Divers may see a network of thin stems with small polyps spaced along them, giving the colony a feathery, textured look. It’s a classic “small but intricate” animal—easy to overlook until you slow down and look closely.
