Eudendrium armatum [Eudendrium armatum]
Description
Eudendrium armatum forms upright colonies that can resemble small, branching “sea whips” anchored to rock or other hard surfaces. Underwater, the colony’s structure stands out in the flow—its feeding polyps can become more noticeable when the water movement helps deliver plankton.
