Egg Yolk Jelly [Phacellophora camtschatica]
Description
The Egg Yolk Jelly is famous for its striking, golden central mass that can look like a glowing yolk beneath the surface. Divers often see it hanging in midwater, with trailing tentacles that sway gently as it drifts. It’s a beautiful sight, but remember that jellyfish tentacles can still sting—admire it from a respectful distance.
