Edwardsia octoradiata [Edwardsia octoradiata]
Description
Edwardsia octoradiata is typically encountered as a small, anchored anemone with a ring-like arrangement of tentacles. Underwater, it can appear as a compact, textured mound that comes alive when it extends its feeding tentacles. Patient divers may notice it respond to water movement, gently opening and closing as food particles drift by.
