Edwardsia mammillata [Edwardsia mammillata]

Description

Edwardsia mammillata can be seen as a compact soft coral with rounded, nipple-like polyp tips that stand out against the colony’s surface. Divers frequently notice how the polyps become more apparent when the animal is actively feeding, adding a “speckled” or bumpy texture to the reef.
