Eastern Shortnose Skate [Pavoraja eastmani]
Description
The eastern shortnose skate is endemic to eastern Australia, where it is found on the upper continental slope at depths of 275–500 m. It is characterized by a diamond-shaped pectoral fin disc, slightly longer than wide, and a short tail with two small dorsal fins and a weakly developed caudal fin.
