Dusky sole [Brachirus aspilos]
Description
The Dusky sole is native to the marine waters of the Indo-West Pacific region. This species is characterized by a dusky or dark body color, a flat body shape, and a small, terminal mouth. It is a bottom-dweller, usually found in shallow coastal waters over sandy or muddy substrates. It often buries itself during the day and comes out at night to feed.
