Double-banded Split-tooth Dorid [Hypselodoris maculosa]
Description
This species is named for the striking double bands that can stand out against its body color, making it a favorite for underwater photographers. Divers may find it resting or creeping along reef rock and sponge-rich habitats. Its bright patterning is a great clue that you’re looking at a well-adapted, reef-dwelling nudibranch.
