Discosoma fowleri [Discosoma fowleri]
Description
Fowleri’s coral anemone form is usually a broad, flattened base with a ring of short tentacles that can look like a soft fringe. Divers frequently see it partially expanded, and it may retract slightly when disturbed, then resume feeding as the water calms.
