Dike Whale [Balaenoptera borealis]
Description
Dike whales are rare encounters for recreational divers, but when conditions align, you might catch a glimpse of their graceful, torpedo-like movement. Watch for a sudden surfacing and a smooth glide underwater, where the body can look surprisingly slender as it passes through the water column.
