Deepwater pipefish [Syngnathus pelagicus]
Description
The Deepwater pipefish inhabits open waters and is found in the Northeast Atlantic, from Norway to Western Sahara. They have a slender, elongated body with a brownish coloration. They are pelagic species, living in open waters, and are less common than other pipefish species.
