Cyphastrea zhongjianensis [Cyphastrea zhongjianensis]
Description
Cyphastrea zhongjianensis is a small-polyped coral that divers may notice as a tight, patterned patch on the reef. When conditions are right, its polyps can appear as distinct dots or mouths across the colony, adding a crisp, mosaic-like look to the substrate.
