Cuban Snowy Plover [Charadrius nivosus tenuirostris]
Description
The Cuban Snowy Plover is a subspecies of the Snowy Plover. It is endemic to Cuba. Similar to other Snowy Plovers, it has pale brown upper parts and white underparts, with a black forehead bar in breeding adults. It inhabits coastal areas, where it forages for invertebrates on sandy beaches.
