Coryne eximia [Coryne eximia]
Description
This hydroid forms colonies that can look like slender, branching “fingers” or delicate fronds anchored to the seafloor. Divers often encounter it in sheltered spots where currents bring food particles within reach of the polyps. It’s a great example of how even small, low-profile life can create complex underwater structure.
