Cortex Jellyfish [Cortex Cincta]
Description
Cortex Cincta, commonly known as Cortex Jellyfish, is a species of jellyfish that inhabits deep sea environments. They are distinguishable by their translucent, bell-shaped body that can reach up to 30 cm in diameter. Their tentacles are long, thin, and very numerous. The Cortex Jellyfish is a bioluminescent creature that uses its light both to lure prey and deter predators. They feed on small fish and plankton.
