Coral Anemone [Discosoma carlgreni]
Description
Often seen as a low, cushion-like coral anemone, this species can look like a colorful patch anchored to the seafloor. Divers may notice its short, fleshy tentacles that subtly extend and retract, giving it a “breathing” appearance as it captures food from the water.
