Compact Ivory Bush Coral [Oculina arbuscula]
Description
Compact and branching, this coral forms tight, bushy clumps that can look like small underwater “trees” made of pale ivory. Divers often notice its delicate texture and the way it creates sheltered microhabitats for tiny reef dwellers. In clear water, the contrast between its light branches and darker substrate really stands out.
