Common Pagoda Snail [Columbarium pagoda]
Description
This small sea snail gets its name from its tightly stacked, pagoda-like shell shape. Divers often spot it tucked onto rocky surfaces or coral rubble, where it blends in with the textures of the seafloor. Look closely for the shell’s stepped whorls and subtle color variations that can make it surprisingly easy to miss at first glance.
