Common Mudskipper [Periophthalmus kalolo]
Description
The Common Mudskipper is a species of mudskipper widespread along the coasts of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It has a greyish body with a darker back, bluish spots on the head and body, and large, protruding eyes. It inhabits mangrove forests and mudflats, where it feeds on small invertebrates.
