Common Fireworm [Eurythoe paraguensis]

Description
Common Fireworm, also known as Eurythoe paraguensis, is a bristle worm species known to inhabit the Atlantic Ocean. They are commonly found in subtidal areas, often hiding under rocks or within coral crevices during the day and coming out at night to feed. They are recognized by their elongated bodies covered with numerous bristles and their bright red or orange color. When disturbed, they can extend their bristles, which are venomous and can cause painful wounds.
