Common Cuttlefish [Sepia vermiculata]
Description
Common cuttlefish are masters of camouflage, often appearing as mottled browns and grays that blend into sandy or weedy bottoms. Divers may spot them hovering just above the substrate, then rapidly changing color and pattern as they investigate a passing diver.
