Circular Cupcoral [Caryophyllia (Caryophyllia) inornata]
Description
Divers often spot this cup coral as a neat, circular cluster of small, upright cups anchored to hard substrate. Up close, the coral’s smooth, tidy structure and subtle coloration make it look almost sculpted, especially in low-to-moderate current.
