Chromodoris orientalis [Chromodoris orientalis]

Description

Chromodoris orientalis is a vibrant nudibranch that can look almost like a living piece of reef art. Divers often encounter it on rocky or coral-associated habitats, where it searches for sponge prey. Because it moves deliberately and stays close to its food sources, the best sightings come from slow, methodical searching of sponge-rich areas.
