Chromodoris mandapamensis [Chromodoris mandapamensis]

Description

This species is a colorful reef nudibranch that divers may encounter on rocky or coral-associated bottoms. It tends to be most noticeable when it’s moving across the substrate or when it pauses near sponge patches. Like many nudibranchs, it’s best observed gently—its vivid look is tempting, but it’s easy to disturb if you get too close.
