Chromodoris lata [Chromodoris lata]
Description
This colorful nudibranch is a small, slow-moving sea slug that divers often spot cruising along rocky bottoms and among sponges. Its bold patterning and vivid coloration make it stand out, and it typically looks most striking when it pauses to graze on the seafloor. If you’re lucky, you may see it tucked into crevices where its prey is abundant.
